Formal attire. Ladies, the ceremony will be on grass. So plan accordingly for your shoes :)
Please arrive to the wedding venue by 6:00 PM.
We love your kids - we really do. But unfortunately we can only accommodate the children of immediate family. Thank you for understanding!
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
TAXI! This is going to be a FUN and LATE night. There are no Ubers in Gijon. If you are staying at one of the hotels, your front desk should be able to help you order a taxi. At the end of the night, the wedding coordinator can help you order a taxi back to your hotel. From the two hotels listed, the venue is about a ten minute drive.
The weather should be perfect! Mid 70s during the day and 60s at night - bring a jacket or sweater for later.
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside (weather permitting), the dinner and party will be inside.
After the ceremony, the bridal party and families will be taking photos. Guests can head straight to the terrace of the house to enjoy cocktails, small bites, and live music.
Planes, train, buses, car rentals! Flying to Oviedo or Santander can be a little pricey. Very often, Gabi and I fly into Madrid and take a bus or train that takes you right into Gijon. Details on the travel page.
