Our Story
Gabi and Bennett met in 2019 in NYC, a couple weeks after Bennett finished grad school. Their first date slowly meandered from a coffee shop on the Upper West Side through Central Park. Four hours later they both knew they had met someone incredibly special.
After enduring a long-distance relationship (Manhattan to Brooklyn), their relationship was tested still further as Bennett moved to Philadelphia for work in January of 2020.
When circumstances changed (global pandemic), Gabi, her cat Remi, her kombucha SCOBY, and her multiple house plants took up residence in Bennett's 400 square foot apartment. The place wasn't much, and the washing machines kept catching on fire, but they were happy.
Their family has continued to grow: more plants, a sourdough starter, and a demonic kitten named Phoebe. Now the whole crew lives in Somerville, MA while Gabi begins her PhD in Clinical Psychology and Bennett continues his work as a data scientist. They are overjoyed to celebrate with you.
