What do we wear?
Answer
We are asking for formal garden attire. Please check the weather and prepare for either cooler or warmer temperatures. Just give Google a quick search of "formal garden attire" and you'll be pointed in the right direction
Question
When should we show up?
Answer
Starting on time is super important so we can all enjoy everything the night has to offer! The bride will be escorted and the ceremony will begin promptly at 5 pm, so we are asking all guests to please be seated by 4:30-4:45

Why are there no actual gifts on your registry?
Answer
As many of you know, Weston and I recently purchased our own home and currently have everything we could need. We are also flying to our honeymoon right after the wedding so we would prefer to not receive actual gifts because we would have to ship them home to Texas.

Where exactly are the ceremony and reception being held?
Answer
The ceremony will be held outside in the private gardens with a beautiful view of the farm and the reception will be tented in the area by the farmhouse

Who should we ask questions to on the day of?
Answer
We hired an amazing wedding coordinator who is going to take care of everything on the day of the wedding! Don’t worry about trying to find/text the bride or groom because Kody has got everything handled

What should we bring?
Answer
We recommend bringing a jacket for when the sun sets, possibly some sunscreen, bug spray, and a few dollars to tip our awesome bartender!

Who needs to show up to the rehearsal dinner?
Answer
Groomsmen, bridesmaids, and parents of the bride and groom. However, all family is invited to enjoy the rehearsal dinner! The rehearsal dinner will be held at the venue location in the tent near the farmhouse. There will be jimmy johns catering for everyone!

Is there open bar?
Answer
Yes! You do not need to pay for drinks. The bride and groom are purchasing a set amount of alcohol so once it’s gone, it’s gone! We will also offer non-alcoholic beverages. Bringing a few dollars to tip our awesome bartender is greatly appreciated

What if I want to bring someone who is not on the guest list?
Answer
We love having people! But if you bring someone who isn’t on the list then we won’t have enough food, tables or chairs to accommodate them. Please let the couple know if more people are coming

Where should we stay?
Answer
Because we had to change the venue from the beach house, unfortunately, we arent able to provide rooms to our family members that we were able to before. Use the zip code 23322 when searching for hotels nearby. The closer to the oceanfront your hotel is the more expensive it will be. Choosing a hotel about 15 minutes from the beach will be a cheaper option.

Should we rent a car?
Answer
Yes! I suggest carpooling and sharing rental cars. If you chose a hotel that is right next to the beach, you could get away with not renting a car because you would be close to food and entertainment options. However, the bride and groom are not going to be able to pick everyone up and drop everyone off at the airport so we highly suggest families each getting one rental car.
