I'm sure at the time both of us hadn't really given much thought to what we wanted to be doing on Thanksgiving, but volunteering seemed like the best thing to do. We had seen each other before at other volunteer events but hadn't really talked until Thanksgiving day working at that pie station. We bonded instantly over our love for the gym and actually went to the gym right after volunteering! We then went over to a dinner hosted by Gabby's supervisor and even went Black Friday shopping afterwards. Sparks flew that whole weekend and it all started when Gabby dropped her phone on a slice of pumpkin pie.

While living in two different states for 6 months, we planned for Weston to come to visit In Arkansas for Memorial Day Weekend. Arkansas has a few pretty waterfalls, hiking trails, and a cute beach about an hour away from the base so it seemed like a nice day trip! The waterfalls were pretty crowded so we decided to hike further down the stream to continue exploring. Weston suggested setting up the tripod & camera for a cute picture and well...the surprise was amazing.
