Gabby and Kelvin were bound to meet at the University of Rochester. They lived in the same freshman dorm, both joined the same clubs, and shared the same Introduction to Computer Science lab. It wasn’t long before they were best friends, spending almost every moment on campus together—daily omelets in the dining hall, studying in the library and watching Gilmore Girls, their first Netflix show together. All of their friends could immediately see what took them a year and a half to realize themselves— that they were meant to be. After graduation, their jobs took them on opposite sides of the country, but they knew they wanted to spend their lives together. That is why they were thrilled when Gabby got a dream job in San Diego, California, where Kelvin was living. In what seemed like an instant, everything came together for them to move into their first home. Now, they love rooting for the Padres, taking day trips to Disneyland, and enjoying the sunshine that reminds them each of home in Florida and the Dominican Republic. Kelvin proposed to Gabby during a beach sunset in Del Mar, which is one of their favorite spots in their new home. She thought they were going to take a walk on the beach before dinner, but Kelvin had hired a photographer to act like a tourist who offered to take their picture. Gabby was completely surprised and overjoyed to say yes! We can’t wait to become husband and wife, and hope you all can join us in Long Island this summer.

Gabby y Kelvin estaban destinados a conocerse en la Universidad de Rochester.
