Klondike Park
If you're looking for a scenic, "active" activity, you can take a trip to Klondike Park for a mild hike on one of their trails or a relaxing walk around their gorgeous lake. This is one of our favorite spots in the area, and we've shared several special moments here.
Main Street Saint Charles
A quick drive from the O'Fallon/Defiance area, Main Street Saint Charles offers a fun mix of shops and restaurants along its historic cobblestone streets.
Montelle Winery
Another one of our favorite wineries! While you truly can't go wrong when exploring all that Defiance/Augusta wine country has to offer, we highly recommend stopping in to this beautiful winery for a crisp glass of Stone House White and a Giant Charcuterie Pretzel!
St. Louis Premium Outlets
In a pinch and need a last minute outfit for the evening? St. Louis Premium Outlets is just across the Missouri River in Chesterfield and offers a wide range of stores for a day full of shopping!

Bemo's boasts a warm yet elevated bar and grill atmosphere in Cottleville, MO. A great stop for a good meal!
Katy Trail
Another option for our active guests, there are several access points to the scenic Katy Trail along Highway 94 in St. Charles/Defiance/Augusta.

For all those history buffs out there, you can take a trip to the Daniel Boone Home and immerse yourself in pioneer times.
St. Louis Zoo
There's a reason it's been named one of the top zoos in the country! A 40 minute drive from the hotel, the St. Louis Zoo is one of the few free zoos in the country that guarantees a fun day.
