Ragged Mountain Nature Area
Walk the trials or rent a kayak/paddleboard/canoe!

Breweries
There are literally hundreds of breweries in and around Charlottesville. You can even walk the Charlottesville Ale Trial - a walking tour of 6 different breweries. A few of our favs: Rockfish, Starhill, Random Row, Three Notch'd, and Champion are all here in Charlottesville. If you want to venture out for a better view - PRN, Brewing Tree, Basic City, Devils Backbone, and Woodridge Farms can't be beat
Monticello
Charlottesville is home to the historic Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello, which is a great place to spend an afternoon. Looking to get some history in and stay a little more local? Consider grabbing lunch on “The Corner” and checking out the Rotunda on UVA’s beautiful campus.
Downtown Mall
Right in the heart of downtown Charlottesville, our walking mall has a variety of restaurants, bars and shops for you to visit.
Charlottesville City Market
The Charlottesville City Market is a large farmers market that spans both the Water Street parking area and IX Art Market. This is the perfect place to grab a coffee and baked good, or check out one of the many food trucks. We personally love the crab cakes!
