Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The entire weekend is CASUAL! Sundresses, shorts, jeans, khakis, etc. are all okay. Please keep in mind that the day's and night's events will all be outside and grounds can be hilly and rocky in places.

Really? We never have to leave camp?

Answer

Come Friday and stay until Sunday! We would love to have you! Staying in one of our cabins is absolutely encouraged!! If you have questions about the accommodations, please let us know! We also have a hotel block reserved at The English Inn in Charlottesville with transportation to and from the ceremony and reception.

I want to stay in a cabin. What’s the deal?

Answer

Let us know and we will fit you in! We are so excited to have y’all stay with us at camp! For those staying in a cabin, “check-in” time is 4pm on Friday, but you don’t actually have to do anything, just head to your assigned cabin! The cabins are pretty bare bones- so please plan to bring your own linens/pillows/blankets/towels/etc. Let us know if you have any questions!!

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love all your kids, but this is your night off. This event will be 21+ only.

Where should guests park?

Answer

There is a large field to park in at the entrance to camp. It is only a short walk up the hill to the festivities. For those unable (or unwilling) to take the short hike, the shuttle buses will be available to take you up from your parked car.

What are you doing about COVID-19?

Answer

We will be constantly keeping an eye on the evolving situation. Having a big party isn’t worth putting our loved ones at risk. Given the current current decline in cases and ease in national restrictions, we will no longer be requiring all guests to be vaccinated. We do ask that our unvaccinated guests test negative for COVID prior to arrival in Charlottesville.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is a present on its own! But even though we love presents, we have a tiny house that we have lived in for a few years now, and unfortunately do not room for any more things! We therefore have decided not to do a traditional registry. See the “Registry” tab for some options!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! The shuttle will be departing The English Inn promptly at 4pm to get you to camp in time for our 430 ceremony. Buses will depart the camp and return to the hotel around 11pm.
