Things To Do

We wanted to share some ideas for experiences and activities in Greece—many of these are things we’re planning to do ourselves! Everyone is welcome to join us for any of the events, but there’s absolutely no pressure—it’s totally up to you. As the dates get closer, we’ll share all the details so you can decide what you’d like to join.

Wedding Day

Varkiza Bapkiza, Greece

The exact location of the wedding will be released later in the future! The wedding will be in the evening and will be an all night event!

Welcome Dinner

Instead of a Rehearsal Dinner, we plan on having a Welcome Dinner! More details of this will come!

Acropolis & Parthenon

Acropolis & Parthenon

Athens, 105 58, Greece

The Acropolis is the ancient citadel overlooking Athens, and the Parthenon—its most famous temple—is a stunning example of classical Greek architecture dedicated to the goddess Athena. The best time to visit is either early in the morning or later in the evening to avoid large crowds and the heat. There’s quite a bit of walking involved, so come ready! We’re planning to organize a larger group tour, and you’re welcome to join us if you’d like. There is also a must see museum!

Temple of Zeus

Temple of Zeus

Archaia Olympia, 270 65, Greece

The Temple of Zeus is famous for being the largest temple in Greece and is home to one of the ancient wonders of the world—the Statue of Zeus. It’s located about three hours from Athens. We’ll be sharing information about a tour company that can take us there, giving everyone a chance to explore another incredible piece of ancient Greek history.

Boat Tour

Boat Tour

Athens, Greece

Enjoy an unforgettable boat day exploring some of the beautiful small islands near Athens. Most tours include food, drinks, swimming, and time to explore these charming islands. We’ll be sharing more details soon! We’d love to experience this together with our guests, but participation is completely optional.

Colossus of Rhodes

Colossus of Rhodes

Platia Neoriou, Rodos, 851 00, Greece

If your itinerary allows for a trip to the island of Rhodes, you’ll find the site of another ancient Wonder of the World. The Colossus of Rhodes was a 33-meter-tall bronze statue of Helios, the Greek sun god, built in 280 BCE. It was considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World for being the tallest statue ever constructed in the ancient time. This statue is no longer standing, but the site itself is filled with history.
