I definitely suggest checking out this state park. Megan and I go hiking here a lot and there are some beautiful scenery. I'd suggest the Gertrude's Nose hike (directions found here, picture found above, http://hikethehudsonvalley.com/minnewaska-ii-gertrudes-nose/) however if you're not up for a long hike theres plenty of shorter hikes and swimming (brave the cold!) in the area.
See the waterfall of which the town is named after. Located within a 2 minute drive from the ceremony location, you can swim and cliff jump around this waterfall. Go enjoy the water after the ceremony while we're taking pictures
While the Woodstock festival happened 60 miles away in Bethel, this quaint town definitely epitomizes the vibe. A small, walkable town has plenty of local dining and shopping offerings to fill an afternoon. Hiking on Lookout Mountain and swimming in the local river can fill the rest of your day in the area.
If you're spending the weekend or extending your trip we definitely suggest you take some time to go and see the city and all it has to offer. Contact Stephen, moochman16@gmail.com, for recommendations and possible hotel options and discounts.
