One word: pandas! This world-famous zoo features several other animals from across the globe, including hippos, elephants, baboons, polar bears, and many more.
Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas Del Mar
The movies are finally back! Located only minutes from the wedding venue and the San Diego Marriott Del Mar, these luxury cinemas serve food and drinks straight to your seat. Beware of late movie showings: their recliners are so comfy that you may end up taking an accidental nap.
One Paseo Shopping Center
This new and quickly expanding shopping center is located right across from Cinepolis and minutes away from the Marriott. It has plenty of great shops and restaurants including Salt & Straw, an ice cream shop with really weird but really yummy flavors (avocado, anyone?).
Board & Brew - Del Mar
A beloved destination for surfers and other beachgoers, Board & Brew is home to the famous Turkado sandwich. Call ahead or be prepared to wait - this restaurant is a gem, but it isn't hidden!
LEGOLAND California
This innovative theme park is a blast for the kids and the kids at heart. The Dragon was Lindsay's first roller coaster ever, and she's loved rides ever since.
Gaslamp Quarter - The Historic Heart Of San Diego
"The historic heart of San Diego" is a funny tagline for the Gaslamp Quarter, which is basically San Diego's version of Las Vegas. It's about 30 minutes away from the wedding venue and the Marriott, but if you feel like making the trek, there are a LOT of fun bars. Trailer Park After Dark, Vin de Syrah (an Alice In Wonderland-themed wine bar), and Coyote Ugly (no shame) are highlights.
