Matron of Honor
I met Elizabeth through working together at WOW!. We were only coworkers initially, and she was a bit scary at first. However, after a few months of working together and on the softball field, I found out she was just passionate about her work and isn't so scary so we became lunch buddies. We soon found that we both loved to travel (especially on the company's dime) and try new food (also on the company's dime). She shared her love of camping and game nights, and I was hooked. She is the master at Catan and Dominoes. Elizabeth has made me feel like family and has always been there when I need her. I could not have planned this wedding with out her and I couldn't imagine anyone else standing up beside me as my Matron of Honor.
Best Man
I met Bert back in High School, but that wasn't the true origin of our friendship. Our friendship truly blossomed when we started working at the same job in 2005. We worked similar shifts and recognized each other from high school and began hanging out more. Like a lot more. We became an inseparable duo. DDR, video games, anime conventions, etc. It didn't matter where you saw one of us, you likely saw the other. Our friends joke about our bromance and their love of watching us together, which I get because together we are both amazing and ridiculous. I have also grown up with Bert and we have been there for each other through numerous life events, both happy and sad. I could not imagine a life without him at my side.
Bridesmaid
Marcala is my sister, but more importantly, she is my friend. We do not always agree on things, but we always love and listen to each other. We are always there to celebrate each other's wins and hold each other when we need an extra hand. We can talk for hours about everything going on in our lives. I can always rely on Marcala to give me a new and exciting workout to try out or if I need a buddy to walk 6 miles on a Sunday morning. She is always there for me when I need a sounding board or encouragement. She is my person.
Groomsman
I met Sean back in High School. It is one of those things to where I do not actually remember the moment that I met him, but rather one day he was my friend and I had no questions about our friendship. We played Smash Brothers (which almost made me kill him), several Madden games (which almost made me kill him), and many other games. We hung out so much that we could yell the exact same thing at the exact same time at each other on an everyday basis. We grew up together and saw that our personalities meshed into a wonderful friendship. As we have grown older, Sean has never left my side through anything we've been through. We've continued to grow together and I could not be more thankful for a friend like him.
Bestest son ever!
My 14 year old mini me Sam. He is crazy smart and always surprising me with his wonderful and thoughtful mind. He is always showing me a new bit of history he learned and new video games he has mastered. I love the man I am seeing him growing into. For all of these reasons and more is why I chose him to walk me down the aisle.
