Welcome To Our Forever

Steven proposed on Christmas Eve night. He wrote me three beautiful and heartfelt letters. One of our past, what we had been through to get here, and how Star Trek Discovery helped bring us together. One of the present and how far we have come and how much he loved our life. Lastly, one of the future, how he knows this is the life he wants to live, with me and Sam. After I read the third letter, Steven asked me to marry him, and of course, I said yes. Sam was there with a massive smile on his face and in full support of Steven marrying his mom. After a very long and loving hug, we drove around the neighborhood looking at the beautiful Christmas lights. It was a magical night! When I started to write this story, I could not get the night before Christmas out of my head. So as a bonus, you get to read the same story in the form of a Christmas poem.

Twas the night before Christmas...and all through the house, not a creature was still, apart from the cats in a drowse Jamie was up to her ears gift wrapping while Steven and Sam a scheme they were hatching Tiptoeing around to fulfill their sneaky plan Jamie was none the wiser of was was about to began. Finally finished with her work all tied with a bow. Immediately something was up, she did know. A lovely wrapped letter at the top of the stairs “Open it” she heard someone declare. She opened it slowly and read the sweet words reciting their past and all that occurred A handwritten letter of how their friendship started. With the help of a bit of Discovery, their hearts were charted. to the next neatly wrapped letter; She could feel this is only going to get better! With a smile on her face, she made her way down it was all about the present and where they were now. Mentions of daily smiles, ridiculous antics, the security they felt together and the love overflowing, oh what a treasure. The last letter was surrounded by the two people she loved the most, both with smiles on their faces and hearts about the burst. The last letter read of their future together, the life they both wanted, they love they had for each other As the last word were read and the tears were now flowing, she turned to see the love of her life on bent knee, face glowing. With a ring in his hand he asked for her heart, she exclaimed “yes of course!”, she couldn’t imagine them apart. As Steven, Jamie, and Sam hugged tightly and started their new life, A beautiful engagement for all and for all a good night!!
