When Kayla's friend saw an attractive man and his friend at the bar, Kayla was tasked to start a conversation. Ever the faithful wingwoman, Kayla approached the friend, Tony, and the four enjoyed cocktails and live music by the waterfront. Things didn't work out for the friend and the man she initially spotted, but Kayla and Tony stuck around, talking for hours. The rest, as they say, is history.
It was the first Christmas in a new apartment so the couple threw an intimate party to celebrate. They spent the day cooking, cleaning, and running errands. Compassionately, Tony asked Kayla to take a break and get a manicure; she laughed at the idea, too busy to even consider it (a decision she would later regret). After a wonderful meal and lots of laughs, Tony gathered everyone around the gorgeous Christmas tree to offer a toast. During his tearful speech about marriage, a thoroughly confused Kayla was shocked when Tony suddenly dropped to his knee and proposed. She said yes, everyone cheered, and the couple immediately ran away from the cameras hoping there would be no evidence of tears or unpolished nails.
