What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Aloha attire welcome! For your planning, the event space is semi-covered with a smooth floor during the reception, and concrete slabs with gravel lining during the ceremony. The ceremony will be outdoors. Honolulu weather in May is typically mid 70's to low 80's and sunny!

Will there be parking available?

Answer

There will be complimentary valet parking only, but rideshare and carpooling are encouraged. We can't wait to see you!

How is 'Oahu doing? I heard about all the storms!

Answer

The North Shore of Hawaii, Manoa, and Waimanalo were hit pretty hard, with lots of flooding, especially for the North Shore. Many people and farmers lost nearly everything. Waikiki and Kapolei were spared, as was the wedding venue. If you'd like to help out, we'd be so grateful! The Hawaii Food Bank, Salvation Army, and Red Cross are great places to donate to! The needs are great and will be ongoing - many people didn't have flood insurance because they weren't in a flood zone, so they'll be rebuilding from scratch. The Aloha Spirit is alive and well though as people donate time, hands, supplies and money to the relief efforts.
