The year was 2016. Meghan was working at two cocktail bars, that much is true. Lagunitas Loren was a beer rep and Meghan was a beer buyer who was not interested in the beer Loren was selling. They exchanged numbers for professional reasons and that’s where it all began. Though Meghan and Loren went to high school a few blocks from each other, attended the same Cal Poly parties, went to the same concerts, and knew some of the same people, it would take years and a little bit of Rookery magic to bring them together. Be it fate or merely townie coincidence, as the saying goes - “The universe is rarely so lazy.”
