We ask that you plan accordingly before deciding whether to bring young children. We understand that in some cases, there are no alternatives for childcare, so we are leaving the decision in your hands. If you have infants that need to be present, by all means they are welcome. If you have the option, decide whether your mini-getaway will include little ones or not. We want everyone to be fully-present and ready to enjoy this special day!
We are going with "Dressy Casual" but please remember that most of the venue is unpaved and you are in the middle of a vineyard.
There is limited shuttle service provided to and from two hotels in Ensenada: Hotel Cortez (pick-up 4:00 p.m.) and Lucerna Hotel ( pick-up 4:30 p.m.) Venue gates will open at 5:00 p.m. You may also take a taxi or there is also Uber available throughout. A suggestion from our wedding planners was if you are taking either of these forms of transportation and you are satisfied with your driver, it's may be a good idea to take down their contact info and/or set a pick-up time for them to return to the venue.
Passports are required for traveling outside the United States. You can apply at your local Post Office and routine processing time is about 4-6 weeks. Expedited service is available for an additional rate and processing time is about 2-3 weeks.
You can stay anywhere in Baja (hotels + Airbnb) just Google how far your accommodations are from "Viñas del Tigre." We went on a trek to find a hotel that would block out reservations for us, however, since it is a busy weekend most are unable to. Click on the Hotels tab to see a few suggestions.
