There are numerous short-term rentals available near Alden Camps. Some right on East Pond and others a short drive away. This is a great option for larger groups. With the wedding taking place after Labor Day and the busy tourist season over, prices should be more affordable and availability more abundant. Nearby towns to search on Airbnb or VRBO would include Oakland, Smithfield, Belgrade and Rome.
Flight
Only 10 minutes to downtown Portland and roughly 75 minutes to Alden Camps our tiny, but trusty jetport is very convenient and has a few car rental options.
Flight
Boston's Logan Airport is roughly two hours from Portland and just over three hours from Alden Camps. With more carriers and flights it can be more budget friendly than flying into Portland. Concord Coach Lines (bus service) travels from the Airport to Portland, however both airports have variety of rental car companies.
