Year 7. First year doing long distance. Shane is completing his second bachelor's in Political Science at the University of Oregon, while Fountane is doing a postbac at NIH in Maryland

Year 7. Shane moves to Maryland! They celebrate Halloween as Burt Macklin and Janet Snakehole

Year 8. Shane gets into a PhD program in London, Ontario, and Fountane gets into medical school in Oregon. We prepare for long distance again :(

Year 8. We go on a roadtrip from Maryland to Oregon, making stops at national parks along the way. Arches was beautiful!

Year 9. We spend many hours on FaceTime. We get really good at playing shows at exactly the same time (even when there's a million ads) so we can still watch them together

Year 9. We go to Outside Lands!

Year 10. Lots and lots of FaceTime

Year 10. Shane finally proposes on December 20th, 2023!

Year 11. We got to visit a few more national parks during a roadtrip in California. We are standing in front of the largest tree in the world at Sequoia National Park!

Year 11. Saw the bean in the windy city!

Year 12. Almost kissed for the first time during our wedding photoshoot in Hong Kong
