Are children invited?

We love your little ones but have decided to keep this an adults only affair. If you need help procuring trusted childcare, please reach out and we will be happy to help.

May I bring a guest?

Answer

We're very fortunate to have the opportunity to celebrate with so many of our friends and family, although for that reason we ask that you only bring a guest if your invitation expressly says as much. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Where do I enter the Arboretum?

Answer

The Arboretum has multiple entrances. Be sure to enter at the R Street entrance, which leads directly to parking. This will also allow you easiest exit after the reception. If you are arriving by Uber/Lyft, have them drop you at the Welcome Center (just inside the R Street entrance).

How 'Black Tie' is the recommendation?

Answer

There certainly won't be any fashion police! Most guests and all participants will be in gowns and tuxedos, although we will reiterate the point about comfortable footwear. We're getting married at a national park. There are paved and unpaved pathways. Stilettos WILL get stuck.

What if I cannot walk very far?

Answer

There is a short walk from the footpaths to the ceremony and then from the ceremony to the reception (less than 1/4 mile). If you are unable to walk, please let us know and and we will happily facilitate transportation.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking at the Welcome Center (near where the reception will take place) and near the ceremony location.
