Kevin and Emily lived six blocks from each other in Philadelphia since 2018. While they may have crossed paths in the grocery store many times, they didn't connect until 2022 when they met the old-fashioned way, on a dating app. After connecting over a shared love of cooking and travel, they agreed to meet up for a drink at a local wine bar. The date got off to an inauspicious start when they arrived to the wine bar only to discover it had closed in the past few days due to a fire.
