Travel & Accommodations

The Wedding Website of Jamie Frost and Cody Thomson
Whether you're coming from just down the road, out of state, or throughout California, we have you covered on getting to Santa Barbara. Below you'll find local airport information, guidance on Amtrak, rental cars, Uber/taxi and more! Once in SB, we recognize that there are many options for accommodations. We put together a list of hotels and Airbnbs that we believe are most convenient for the ceremony and reception, but ultimately please choose what works best for you! So long as you are staying around Lower State Street, you'll be close to all the fun.

Travel Note

Trolley Transportation

Trolley transportation will be provided to the ceremony and reception. Trolleys will pick up guests at the Palm Park Public Parking Lot at 3:00 pm sharp! Address: 236E E Cabrillo Blvd, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

Travel Note

Public Parking

If you prefer to drive to the ceremony and reception there are several options for public parking. Ceremony: Parking is available in City Lot #7, directly across from the Courthouse on Anacapa Street. General parking in the lot is free for the first 75 minutes. Address: 1115 Anacapa St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 Reception: Parking is available in the Palm Park Public Parking Lot across from the venue and in the Garden Street Public Parking Lot, next to the venue. Hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Address: 236E E Cabrillo Blvd, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 Address: 15 Santa Barbara St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

Flight

Santa Barbara Airport (SBA)

SBA is a wonderfully convenient airport, however, options may be limited and/or expensive. 30 minutes outside of town and easily accessible via taxi/Uber or rental car if preferred.

Flight

Los Angeles (LAX or BUR)

You're bound to find more (and likely cheaper) flights into LAX or Burbank (BUR). We recommend a rental car, although Uber/taxi up to Santa Barbara is certainly possible despite the longer journey.

Train

Pacific Surfliner - Amtrak

The Surfliner is certainly the most scenic way of getting to Santa Barbara - and perhaps the most convenient! The train stops in the heart of downtown. Ditch the car for the weekend and grab a seat on the train.
