We worked in the same industry but somehow never crossed paths—until one day, we did. It started with Taylor Frost saying “Well, if this is going to work, one of us needs to change our name”. From the moment we started talking, we couldn’t stop. For two months straight, it was constant conversation, waiting for the end of busy season so we could finally have a real date. Our first date? Burgers at Outback and so much laughter that we didn’t want the night to end. So we ran across the street to Encore for an impromptu adventure—and it ended up being the best date ever. But life had other plans. Things got complicated. Taylor Frost had to focus on her daughter and her needs and had to put the rest of her life on hold. Eight months later, we reconnected and picked up right where we left off. That second first date? Paddleboarding in Boston. Since then, we’ve been making up for lost time—exploring the city, kayaking, comedy shows, spontaneous adventures.
On a trip to Las Vegas—he planned something unforgettable. As the sun set and the lights of the Strip began to glow, we walked over to the iconic Bellagio fountains. He got a photographer to take some photos of us as a keepsake from our trip. With the fountains behind us, he asked me to marry him. It was surreal, beautiful, and so perfectly us. I said yes (through happy tears and shock), and in that moment, surrounded by lights, music, and the buzz of Vegas, our next chapter began.
