FAQs

We are so excited to celebrate with you and have provided a few helpful hints below to help the big day go smoothly!
Question

Where should I park for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We are so excited that our church and reception space are so close to one another (just a 5 minute walk)! Ashley Hall has parking for everyone, so we highly suggest parking at Ashley Hall and walking to St. Luke's to avoid fighting for Downtown parking. We will have assistants on hand to direct you as to where to go. Please note that Ashley Hall's parking is not located at the main address, but can be found by using this address: 133 Smith Street Charleston, SC 29403. Plan to arrive early to give yourself enough time to park and walk to the chapel! The chapel will fill up!

Question

What is the suggested attire for the big day?

Answer

Even though we are having a 6:00 wedding, this is NOT a black tie event. Cocktail attire is suggested.

Question

Is Uber readily available in Charleston?

Answer

Yes! Uber is a great option! We want all of our guests to be safe getting to and from our big day. If you do plan to Uber, do note the 133 Smith Street address. Please note your car will be safe overnight if you need to leave it.

Question

Where are Jason and Katy registered?

Answer

The couple is registered here through Zola, Amazon, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Rhodes Boutique (in Charleston). See the registry tab for more information!

Question

Are cell phones allowed in the chapel?

Answer

Jason and Katy kindly request that you refrain from using your cell phone (including taking pictures and video) during the ceremony. The photography and videography team are amazing who have been hired for the big day and will kindly share all their work!
