Small, low-key outlet pouring espresso drinks alongside baked goods & scoops of Italian gelato. Just across the square from Surf Hotel!

Eddyline Restaurant | South Main

This is the second Eddyline location. It is located very close to Surf Hotel. They have a more extensive menu compared to the original location.

Deerhammer Distillery

Great distillery on Main Street in town. They have a variety of liquor options, they make tasty cocktails and have appetizers as well.

Buena Vista Roastery Cafe

Good coffee shop on Main street. They have breakfast options ranging from pastries to breakfast burritos.

The Jailhouse Craft Beer Bar

They have awesome beer, wine, and small plates. Great outdoor space!

Buena Vista Hiking Trails

Denny Creek Trailhead

This is the trail for the 14,000 foot peak Mt. Yale and is 20 minutes from Buena Vista. There are great fall colors a short way up the trail!

Independence Pass

This may be a beautiful drive to view fall colors!

Mount Princeton Hot Springs

If you go pay extra for the "Adults Only" side, we made the mistake of not doing this!

Salida

Salisa is a thirty-minute drive from Buena Vista if you have extra time and want to pass through on your way in to or out of Buena Vista.

Twin Lakes

This would be a fun spot for lake activities or nearby hiking!
