Consider taking a trip to the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium. Voted #1 in the nation, this zoo hosts a bunch of unique habitats to wander and explore. We particularly love to go into the aquarium and sit under the shark tank and watch them swim overhead.
The Old Market
There is so much to see at the Old Market in Omaha, Nebraska. Enjoy an array of tasty foods, local bars, beautiful out door spaces, art galleries and shops. Don't forget to visit our favorite Old Market Candy Shop, or skate at the newly installed Skate Ribbon.
Vala's Pumpkin Patch & Apple Orchard
October is truly the best time to be in Omaha because you can visit Vala's Pumpkin Patch. We go ever year to enjoy their tasty sweet treats such as homemade pie and bucket of fresh baked cookies. Drive around their pumpkin patches, searching for the perfect pumpkin, try your hand at zombie paint ball, or simply just enjoy a warm fire in one of their many rented spaces. Truly a great place to enjoy the fall season!
Shooters Pool and Sports Bar
This is by far our favorite little dive bar. With free pool played on Tuesdays and Fridays, this is a place that holds a special place in our hearts. We have celebrated many promotions, weddings, graduations and everything life has to offer here. Plus, they have the BEST fried mac'n'cheese bites around!
