Got additional questions about New Smyrna, the wedding, Covid precautions? Please let us know by reaching out directly!
Question

What are your COVID precautions?

Answer

We are taking numerous precautions to protect ourselves, our guests and all of our vendors. First, we're trying to keep as many events outdoors as possible. The Friday Welcome Party, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, and dance floor will all be outside. We are requiring masks to be worn when guests are moving around at the reception. Ceremony chairs will be spaced out in groups of 2 for distancing. Dinner service will be indoors, with guests released by table to prevent crowding. The buffet will be served by masked, gloved servers. The tables indoors will be more than 6 feet apart as well. We will also have wristbands for guests to indicate they have been vaccinated (you lucky ducks!), and color-coded wrist bands for everyone to indicate their level of comfort interacting with those outside their household. We understand that everyone has a different risk level and risk tolerance and completely understand if you don't feel comfortable attending a large event at this time.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes, we will have a shuttle to and from Oceania Condos starting an hour before the ceremony, and running continuously back and forth starting at 8:30 pm

Question

Is there parking for at the Brannon Center?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot for guests in front of the venue. Please note that cars cannot be left overnight, so if you plan to imbibe, we recommend taking the shuttle.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We tried to design our menu to accommodate all guests! There are vegan, nut-free, and gluten-free options. There is a spot on the RSVP for you to indicate any allergies, and we will communicate those to the caterer. If you are concerned about cross-contamination, the caterer will be happy to plate your meal separately and bring it out at dinner time.
