About a year ago, we found each other on Hinge, both a little skeptical, but still hoping for something real, even when modern dating didn’t feel made for us.
We came from different pasts, carrying old heartbreaks, but still believing in love, marriage, and building a life together.
It started on a Sunday after Halloween when we went to a haunted house because we both loved horror movies. That “zero date” (as Freya calls it) became the beginning of everything. One date became two, three, and one day we realized: this is it - the feeling of not wanting a day apart, of love that feels like home.
We didn’t just want to go with the flow, we wanted to do it right. Moving in together brought everything forward: two cultures, lifestyles learning to become one. Yet it taught us patience, compromise, and choosing each other every day.
We’ve had hard days and soft ones. Not a perfect love story, but a real one. And here we are, still learning and still growing for everything that comes next.
