Hotel Rural Casa dos Viscondes Várzea
We’ve booked Casa Viscondes da Várzea exclusively for the wedding weekend so it will be an intimate, private celebration with all of our favourite people together in one place. All guests will stay on-site with us, and we’ll be assigning rooms for everyone. Room Details: ~ Rooms will be assigned thoughtfully based on proximity to the party (for those who prefer quiet or lively vibes), comfort level between guests, and room sizes. ~ Room Pricing: ~ €160–€260 per night depending on room type and occupancy (this means it will be a maximum of €80 per person per night) ~ ~ 2-night stay (June 27–29) required ~ ~ Payment will be made via bank transfer to us ~ ~ Breakfast is included for all rooms ~ You’ll receive your room assignment and the total amount to pay directly from us. If you have any issues with your room assignment, please reach out. Buffet breakfast is included for all guests on both days. Facilities: ~ Outdoor swimming pool surrounded by gardens ~ ~ Beautiful courtyards and walking paths~ ~ Historic interiors and communal spaces ~ ~ On-site breakfast buffet each morning ~ ~ Wi-Fi in main areas (limited in some rooms) ~

How to Get Here
By Car Renting a car is the best and quickest option to get to the venue. The drive from Porto goes through the Duoro Valley and is incredibly beautiful. Free parking is available at Casa Viscondes da Várzea. ________________________________________ By Train (Recommended Public Transport Option) Portugal’s train network is affordable and very scenic. From Porto: Take a train from Porto Campanhã to Régua (usually about 2 hours). Once you arrive at Régua station, it’s about a 15–20 minute taxi ride to Casa Viscondes da Várzea.
