FAQs

Question

Can I buy you a gift or contribute to a wedding pot?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift ever and we truly appreciate the effort put in so that you can attend our celebration. If you would like to gift us anything above this, we would be incredibly grateful if you could contribute to our honeymoon and Asia travel trip rather than gift us anything physical (we already have too many things to bring with us to Australia!). For gifts under £100 please use this link: https://monzo.me/tobyhallifax?h=4Yx2kU&account_type=joint or send to: Toby Hallifax 04-00-03 88155746 For anything over £100, please use this link: https://app.collectionpot.com/pot/fredieandtoby Thank you in advance, we really appreciate it :)

Question

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes, please RSVP by 31st August via the RSVP section of this website so we can finalise room allocations and numbers for food and drink. All guests are asked to attend both events, so RSVP'ing for the wedding means you are attending both days.

Question

When do I need to arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by mid-afternoon on Saturday, June 27th, so you have time to check in and settle in before the Welcome BBQ starts around 6:00 PM.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Except for children that are part of our direct family, this will be an adults-only weekend. If this is going to cause any issues for you, please reach out to us directly.

Question

What’s the cost for the weekend?

Answer

We’re covering both the Welcome BBQ and Wedding Day celebration - all food and drink is included during the events. The welcome party will finish at 11pm, however, there will still be a bar open where guests can continue purchasing drinks if they want to. Please bring cash or pay by card for these. On the Sunday (ceremony day) they will be putting up a bar by the pool area which will be providing snacks and drinks throughout the afternoon, if you get peckish or thirsty after breakfast but before the evening meal (food will start around 5pm). Guests can pay by cash or card. You’ll need to cover: ~ Your accommodation (€160–€260) per night per room depending on how many people in the room) ~ ~ Your flights and travel to/from the venue ~

Question

When is check-out?

Answer

Check-out is on Monday, June 29th at 12pm. That said, we’ll be staying an extra night on Monday - if you’d like to extend your stay, let us know and we’ll help arrange it with the hotel (subject to room availability).

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

~ Saturday BBQ: Summer party chic ~ ~ Wedding day: Formal / Summer Wedding Attire - we suggest light, breathable fabrics as it will likely be warm! ~ ~ No white or light pink ~ ~ Any doubts give us the shouts ~

Question

What’s the weather like?

Answer

Typically warm and sunny - highs of 25–30°C during the day and cooler evenings. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a light layer for later.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Let us know when you RSVP and we’ll make sure we can accommodate you.

Question

What food is included?

Answer

Breakfast is included on both days for all guests, until 10am. Dinner on both days is included - there will be A LOT of food for dinner on both days so please keep other meals light around this :) The ceremony on Sunday 28th June starts at 4pm. The hotel will be putting on a bar with snacks and drinks by the pool if you get hungry or thirsty before then. This will be pay by card.

Question

Can I bring food / snacks / drinks?

Answer

There will be plenty of food and drinks on site and there is an open bar for both events so there should be no need to bring in additional alcohol or food. However, if you are to bring light snacks e.g. crisps, fruit, water etc this is fine.

Question

Can I arrive earlier or stay later?

Answer

If you're thinking of coming earlier or staying later (especially Monday night), just let us know as soon as possible and we can help coordinate extra nights with the hotel.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

There are lots of free parking spots on site and on the grounds. On the day of the wedding (sunday) you may need to move your car if you are parked at the front of the house due to photos, but someone will let you know.
