Question

Can I drive to the venue?

Answer

If you are planning to drive, please arrive at the venue no later than 4pm! You will not be able to enter once the ceremony has started. We will be providing shuttles and highly recommend everyone use them. Please select which venue you will be taking the shuttle from when RSVPing.

Will there be shuttles to the wedding?

Answer

Yes there will be! We will have shuttles pick up from either the Sheraton Petaluma and the Courtyard Petaluma. Shuttles will pick up guests at 3:15 from the Sheraton and depart at 3:30 promptly. The shuttles will then head to the Courtyard Petaluma and depart around 3:35-3:40 to take you to the wedding. Shuttles will leave the reception at 9:45pm, and 11 pm to take people back to the hotels after the party.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would love if everyone could RSVP as soon as you know your availability, but no later than April 1st 2025.

How do I know if I have a plus one?

Answer

The two of us have been very intentional about our wedding invitations, and anyone formally invited to our wedding is addressed by name on the invite.

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

Answer

The two of us absolutely love children, but are planning to have an adults only wedding.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have reserved a hotel block at the Sheraton which can be accessed using the link under the Sheraton in the Travel section of our website. We have listed other nearby accommodations under the Travel section as well.

What if we aren't staying at one of the two hotels where the shuttles are picking up?

Answer

There are so many great places in or near Petaluma to stay, so if you do decide to stay elsewhere we recommend catching the shuttle from the Sheraton. The Sheraton hotel has a huge parking lot, making it easy to leave cars there and catch the shuttle to and from the wedding.

Can I take photos at the wedding?

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer and videographer, but would love to see any and all photos and videos you take throughout the day! Our one request is that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony and first dance as we don't want cameras/phones in the professional shots.

What should I plan to wear?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is cocktail attire (long or short dresses okay). Please wear what makes you feel your best, but keep in mind that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and it can get cool in the evening. The ceremony will also take place on a lawn, which might impact the shoes you choose to wear.

SFO and oakland are both convenient options!

Do I need to bring cash for the bar?

Answer

The party is on us! We will be having an open bar at our wedding, but you can bring cash for tipping if you would like. The bar at the welcome party will be a cash bar.
