Come Celebrate Our Big Day!

We met at JMU in 2017 during syllabus week at the bar us young folk liked to frequent on Thursday nights. We didn't actually exchange phone numbers until a couple months later after one of us hunted the other down on social media and slid into the other's DMs. We decided to meet up for drinks with friends. Hitting it off, we went on our first date a few days later to one of our favorite restaurants downtown. We were both extremely nervous and one of us likes to talk with our hands when we're nervous (Brittany *cough cough*), which led to accidentally throwing pizza across the restaurant. It was slightly embarrassing, but only adds to the amazing memory. Having already made NYE plans with friends at The Gaylord, John couldn't resist wanting to enter the New Year together so he managed to snag a ticket to come along. We made our relationship official at midnight, starting 2018 together. We have hit so many milestones together: graduating college, first jobs post-grad, first apartment in a new city, new puppy (Brittany surprised John), John's 30th birthday, promotions, getting engaged, both of us continuing our education, pursuing new careers and moving to Tennessee. We are so excited to see what the future holds. We cannot wait for everyone we love to come out and celebrate our big day!
