Things To Do

Rocky Mountain National Park

Rocky Mountain National Park

CO

You really can't come to Estes Park and not atleast take a drive through RMNP. In order to enter, you will need to purchase a national park pass as well as a timed entry pass, unless you plan on going during off-peak hours. Most of our favorite trails are off of Bear Lake Road and if you are looking for an easy hike with great views we recommend Bear Lake Loop. If you are feeling ambitious, you can keep walking up the trail to Nymph Lake or Dream Lake. Just keep in mind you will be hiking at over 9,000ft so be sure to stay hydrated and be prepared to feel slightly breathless!

The Stanley Hotel

The Stanley Hotel

333 East Wonderview Avenue, Estes Park, CO 80517

Another Estes Park staple! This historic hotel was the inspiration for Stephen King's novel, "The Shining," making it famous for it's paranormal activity and ghost tours. In addition to the spookiness, this hotel also has some of the best views of the Rockies that you can't miss!

Lake Estes

Lake Estes

Estes Park, CO 80517

Lake Estes is one of my favorite parts of Estes Park! Whether you just want to take a scenic stroll (may see some elk bathing in it depending on the time of day) or if you want to look into renting a bike or kayak, there are plenty of fun ways to spend the day at this lake!

Estes Park Arial Tramway

420 East Riverside Drive, Estes Park, CO 80517

A great way to see the mountains for those of you who don't want to hike!

Mustang Mountain Coaster

1180 Dry Gulch Rd, Estes Park, CO

Another fun activity and way to explore the mountains!
