Hi All! Thank you so much for checking out our website. I cannot wait for you to have a front row seat to witnessing our love and hearing our story. I am a native of Gaffney, SC, and I am the oldest daughter of Dr. James and Mrs. Ruby Byers. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and our two dogs. On June 19, 2022, my life changed forever. We like to call our love story, "Love at First Link." We met before in college, but we were only friends. In 2022, we felt a different connection. Roman drove two hours and 30 mins to hang out. We talked, we laughed, we listened to music, and the rest was history. Through our bond, I have gained a "freedom" mindset, a life partner, and a precious child. None of these would have been possible without my husband, Roman. I cannot wait to celebrate our love with you all!

My name is Roman Mealing, named after the greatest empire that ever existed, that fell (Roman Empire). But here, I am, Roman, standing. I’m 28, born May 2, 1996. Fell in love with my beautiful wife, Franquia Byers Mealing, on June 19, 2022. Love at first link, our love story is like that of Bonnie & Clyde (she got way more gangsta in her than me!!), we ride together, slide together, laugh together, argue together, step to people together, demand our respect TOGETHER. A force to be reckoned with, all praise due to God, Allah. Every chance I get, I brag on her. My most prized possession! And if you’re reading this, it’s too late…I love you all! Hello! I’m Raven Fox, Franquia’s proud sister and Matron of Honor. I've had the joy of knowing Franquia from the womb, and it has been a privilege to witness her journey through life. I currently live in Columbia, SC, where I am a middle school teacher, a college professor, and co-owner of a small winery with my husband. When I'm not teaching or making wine, you’ll find me working out or traveling. I am overjoyed to celebrate Franquia and Roman’s union and look forward to making wonderful memories on their special day!

I met Franquia in 2014, while attending the University of South Carolina - Upstate. We were both education majors, so meeting almost felt inevitable. I remember when we had public speaking together, and our group had to bully me on social media for a project. That was a good time and the start of a friendship. We started hanging out heavily after college and have been inseparable ever since. Franq has had my back like no other. She accepts me for who I am, has the most amazing smile, and gives the best hugs in the world. God knew I needed a sister like her. I am very excited to celebrate Franquia and Roman on their wedding day. May God be with them, is my prayer.

I am 28 years old and I am from North Augusta, SC. I attended college at both North Carolina and A & T and the University of Texas at San Antonio. I’m currently a Systems Engineer, working out of Tucson, AZ. I enjoy traveling abroad, boxing, and golfing. I met Roman in elementary school, playing basketball at the Rec Center and he had been my dawg ever since. I’m proud of his growth as a person, a father, and now, a husband. Congratulations Bro!
