In the winter of 2017, Olivia's lifelong friend, Watson, convinced her to download a dating app. Watson had luck meeting her now-fiance Nimai on an app and was convinced the same would work for Olivia. One of the first people to message Olivia was a man named Nick, who was from the Boston area as well. Ever to-the-point and logical, Nick asked to meet up for a date after a couple messages were exchanged. When Olivia asked when, Nick said "well, I'm free now." Olivia, on the other hand, easily flustered and perpetually anxious decided this was "too much" and took a nap. When she woke up, she forgot to respond. Nick messaged her a few days later saying he knew it was a busy time of year, and that he'd still love to meet up when they returned from the holidays at home. Olivia, still flustered, did not respond. Nick in a very-not-creepy way (seriously, it wasn't creepy it was quite sweet and respectful) reached out for a third time in January. He said this would be the last time he would reach out. Luckily for Olivia, she was at Watson's apartment when she got his final message and threw her phone down in embarrassment. Olivia was fully prepared to never answer Nick and never meet up with him because she didn't know what to say. Nimai took Olivia's phone and drafted a message to Nick to set up their first date. On January 16th, Olivia and Nick met at local watering hole Don Tito's for Taco Tuesday and margaritas. The conversation flowed easily and they decided to go on another date. After that, the two were together. They can't wait to celebrate their love with all those they love most!
