Question

Are there on-site accommodations available?

Answer

Yes, however they are very limited. Catalpa Grove is located at Lakewood Park Campground, which has a few luxury cabins on-site. These are reserved for the wedding party (sorry!), but there will still be some RV and camping sites available if you have a camper. If not--no worries! There are a lot of Airbnb's and VRBO's super closeby, as well as many hotels within 10-30 minutes of the venue! We have reserved a block of rooms at the TownePlace Suites in Pottsville, PA (check the Travel page for more info!) if you'd like to stay there, as well.

Will there be an open bar?

Yup! No shots (sorry!), but free drinks ALL NIGHT!

Will there be a shuttle from my hotel?

Answer

Yes! Kenny's amazing employer Londonderry Limousine will be providing a complimentary shuttle for anyone staying within a 30-mile radius of the venue. Please don't drink and drive!

What's the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal (but honestly, whatever you want!). Don't overthink it! Gowns & tuxedos are welcome, but so are cocktail dresses and suits. Please also feel free to dress more casually if that's more comfortable for you.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot right next to the venue where the ceremony and reception will take place.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive anywhere between 10-20 minutes before the ceremony is scheduled to begin so that you may find a seat and enjoy a musical prelude from Cherrywood String Ensembles.
