Fox in the Snow Cafe

Great spot for breakfast or an afternoon cappuccino. The breakfast sandwich is a winner, but you can't go wrong with any of the pastries either.

Oddfellows Liquor Bar

Always a good time. Late Night Slice pizza around back on the patio.

Land-Grant Brewing Company

424 West Town Street, Columbus, OH 43215
, (614) 427-3946

Great beer in the hip Franklinton neighborhood. Grab tacos and a cocktail at Strongwater across the street or head over to BrewDog Brewery down the road for a second round.

Schiller Park, German Village

1069 Jaeger St, Columbus, OH 43206

Located in German Village, Schiller Park is one of our favorite parks in Columbus. Whenever Frankie and I are visiting home, we make it a point to grab a sandwich at Katzinger's, a coffee at Stauf's, and take a walk around Schiller Park. Be sure to visit the Umbrella Girl statue located at the Northwest corner of the park. This beautiful statue is of Frankie's mother, Andi, as a child, and was crafted by his grandmother, Joan Wobst.

Short North Arts District

Columbus, OH

The Short North overall is a great area to explore while you are in town. The best restaurants, bars, galleries, and shops line High Street from E Goodale to Fifth Ave.
