Everyone attending the wedding and any wedding events must be fully vaccinated, including a booster shot, against COVID-19. No exceptions. Please contact Eileen at 614 607 3232 if you have any questions or concerns.
Cocktail attire is recommended. The ceremony will be outside, along with cocktail hour, where you will be able to stroll around the Community Gardens outside of the Wells Barn.
We want you to be present with us on our special day. That's why we ask you to please keep your phones and cameras turned off during the ceremony. We will happily share the photos that are captured by the professional photographers.
Located on the grounds of the Franklin Park Conservatory, the Wells Barn is a historical Ohio barn whose 200-year-old hand-hewn timbers have been relocated and newly constructed into the barn it is today. The ceremony will take place on the lawn around the side of the barn. The cocktail hour will be hosted adjacent to the lawn in the Community Gardens, where guests can enjoy the 4 acres of beautiful gardens and plants. Dinner and Reception will be inside the barn.
Yes, the ceremony will be outdoors on the lawn adjacent to the Wells Barn as long as the weather is nice. Cocktail hour will also be outdoors in the Community Gardens. In the event of rain, the ceremony and cocktails will be on the lawn under a tent.
There will be a couple of party buses that can transport guests from the Wells Barn to the After Party at Callahan's Irish Pub, 10-15 minutes away. If you anticipate wanting to join us at the after party, we suggest getting an Uber/Lyft/Taxi to the Wells Barn from where you are staying, and then getting an Uber/Lyft/Taxi from Callahan's back to your hotel. Callahan's is only a block from the AC Hotel.
The only way to access the barn is via the main Conservatory entrance off of E Broad Street. Follow the main Conservatory Road south to the Wells Barn parking lot (there will be signs up for our wedding). You may park in the Wells Barn parking lot. Parking is free.
