FAQs

If you have any other questions beyond what we've listed here, you can reach out to Allison at 815-590-9399 or Taylor at 618-550-3228.
Question

Do I need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend the wedding?

Answer

We aren't going to go out of our way to monitor whether everyone in attendance is vaccinated. That said, if you are still on the fence about receiving a vaccine, we want to reassure everyone that vaccines are safe and effective. Thanks to the COVID vaccine, we are able to celebrate our wedding with all of the people we love. Yay for vaccines! If you haven't already gotten your shot, we strongly encourage you to make your appointment and get vaccinated.

Question

Will masks be required?

Answer

At this time, masks will not be required. We feel that this choice is safe because our wedding and reception are completely outdoors, and according to infectious disease experts, the chance of outdoor transmission is lower than 1%. Additionally, according to an independent review by Noles, Frankfother. et. al., over 80% of those planning to attend the wedding are known to be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 as of June 1, 2021. That said, if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, you are 100% welcome to do so.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Our venue has a parking lot. The ceremony and reception are both at the same venue.

Question

Can I bring a guest? How about kids?

Answer

You may bring a guest if it is indicated on your RSVP page. Kids are welcome as well! If we accidentally forgot to add your spouse, partner, or children, please reach out to one of us and we will fix it.

Question

I'm not sure how I feel about vegan food. Can I bring my own food?

Answer

No. Our venue does not allow any outside food or drink (with the exception of baby food/bottles for infants and babies). We promise the vegan dinner will both satisfy and delight 😊
