For your comfort and convenience, a block of rooms have been reserved for our guests (July 16 & 17). The rooms are available at a special rate for the night before and of the occasion. These rates are available until May 31, 2021 by mentioning Michelle and Frank's wedding and the date of the event. Guadalajara's International Airport (GDL) is officially known as Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport. It's 25 min (13 miles) away from downtown, 1 h (50 mi) from Tequila and 14 min (9 mi) from Tlaquepaque. If you get in the day of the wedding, it will take about an hour from the airport to arrive at the Quinta San Carlos Hotel. We recommend getting around with Uber. Yes, you use the same app whether you are in the US or Mexico. Just know that once you open the app in Mexico, you will be quoted in Pesos. With Uber, you don’t really need to speak Spanish to get where you’re going. Just like in the US, the app will give you the driver’s name, the type of car they’re driving, the color of the car, and the car’s plate number so that you know which one to get into.
