When should I book my hotel or rental?
Answer
ASAP. October is one of Charlottesville's busiest months between tourists and UVA football. We strongly encourage you to book your lodging as soon as possible.

Are my children invited?
Answer
While we love your little ones, we have chosen to have an adults-only celebration. Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to celebrating with them in the future!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
If you're planning your own transportation, please arrive by 5pm. Since the winery is an active tasting room, guests are not allowed to arrive prior to 5pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm.

Question
Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Yes! We will have transportation for everyone to and from the event. The busses will pick up from the Fairfield Inn & Suites (401 Cherry Street) to arrive at the venue by 5pm. Transportation will be provided back to the Fairfield Inn & Suites at the end of the reception. We are more confident about Ubers to the venue than from the venue. If you choose to Uber to the venue, you will still have a spot on our transportation back to Downtown Charlottesville at the end of the night. Please note, if you are not staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suites, you will be responsible for getting to and from the pick-up/drop-off location at 401 Cherry Street.

What should I wear?
Answer
We encourage cocktail attire -- suit and tie, formal cocktail dresses. Ladies, please be advised that this is an active vineyard and tasting room, and our ceremony will take place outside. Please be mindful of the lawn and stone patio when picking out your shoes.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
Join us for Welcome Drinks on Thursday to kick off our wedding weekend! Following the wedding, on Saturday, we invite you to visit us at another local winery (nothing like a little hair of the dog, am I right?)! More details to come.

You live in Raleigh. Why Charlottesville?
Answer
We visited Charlottesville for a weekend getaway in 2023. Enjoying the views and sipping wine, we turned to each other and said, "This would be a beautiful place for a wedding." Fast forward, on the same weekend the following year, we locked in our wedding date and venue. In 2025, we'll be getting married on that same weekend!
