Boise River Greenbelt
One of Boise's most well-loved attractions, the Greenbelt is a 25-mile walking path that follows along the Snake River and weaves through the city of Boise. The Greenbelt is accessible by going to nearly any one of Boise's parks. On top of this, Frank asked Heidi to be his girlfriend here!

Filled with history, the old Idaho State Penitentiary is intriguing for anyone with a couple of hours and an interest in Boise's past. You can book a tour ahead of time or just show up and take a tour on the spot (like Frank and Heidi did).
