Recommended Airports

There are three major airports in the Washington, DC area: Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). Approximate driving times to Old Town Alexandria (traffic permitting): DCA: ~10 minutes IAD: ~40–50 minutes BWI: ~50–60 minutes DCA is the closest and most convenient airport for our wedding events. We highly recommend flying in and out of DCA if possible.

Transportation

Getting around Alexandria is easy! There are plenty of options for getting to our wedding events or exploring the area: Rideshares and Taxis: Ubers, Lyfts, and local taxis are everywhere, so getting around is simple. Public Transit: The Metro (Blue and Yellow Lines) and local trains make it easy to reach Washington, DC, and other nearby spots. Rental Cars: If you prefer to drive, rental cars are available at all the major airports and around the city.
