Mother of the Bride
April is the beautiful mother of the bride. April is an absolute legend of a woman, anyone who knows her will tell you that. Kenzie is her only daughter and couldn't be more excited that her baby girl found her forever. She was a little skeptical in the beginning but now, Cisco is an integral part of the family. April and Cisco have such a fun friendship, they beef about sports and talk shit and laugh about all of Cisco's "Canadian-isms". April is a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She's damn funny and loves to dance, so you better believe she'll be on the dance floor. p.s. she likes to pretend she's a hard ass, but she's actually quite the softy
Mother of the Groom
Anne-Marie Riman is mother to the groom and loving wife of her husband David Riman. She has been an ICU nurse for over 30+ years but has since transitioned in to long-term care for her mother (our grandmother). Her level of selflessness and care for people, especially those that she loves is unmatched. She is one of the strongest and most resilient women I’ve had the honour of knowing and it is my pleasure to call her “Mom” or “Momma-Anne”. You best believe her and April will be tearing up the dance floor! — she is a former belly-dancer after all.
Bridesmaid
Chelsea is the closest thing to a big sister that Kenzie ever got! The closest niece and aunt relationship you will ever see, they've had the chance to be roommates and they've always been each others go to concert buddy! Chelsea is the reason Kenzie loves screamo too! Couldn't do this day without her.
Bridesmaid
Bri and Kenzie got the opportunity to be friends through their work at Vista. Bri is one of the best people to ever have in your corner, no good or bad day will go unnoticed with her around. She is the first to offer a pep talk when your down or the first to sing your praises when you succeed. Her seemingly endless knowledge of trivia will forever baffle us. So happy that she can be apart of Kenzie and Cisco's day.
Bridesmaid
Alice and Kenzie became friends at Vista. There were a few times the two of them would get mistaken as sisters which was oh so flattering. The friendship they have, has continued past working the same job, which is a rarity in most cases. Alice is the queen of hosting. From Halloween parties to just small girls game nights she knows how to party. The love that Alice exudes is infectious and is something you can never forget. We are thrilled to have her be apart of this day!
Bridesmaid
Ashlynn is a fast friend of Kenzie's. The interwoven connections of their families is almost suspicious. Ashlynn is the kindest girl you'll ever have the chance of meeting. She has always been around, the kind of friend you could not see for a while but the second you get together again its like you never left! So glad to have her!
Bridesmaid
Ruthie is the younger cousin to Kenzie on her moms side. She is a beautiful woman inside and out. Ruthie and Kenzie became great friends really quick. Bonded in their impressionable young teen years over the band Twenty One Pilots and making really dumb imovies. So incredibly grateful to have her in the wedding party!
Best Man
Kody has been a friend of Cisco’s for upwards of 16 years. Growing up Kody and Cisco hung out so much that his family claimed Cisco as their “adopted son.” Over the years Kody has taken on many roles in Cisco’s life; role model, confidant, wingman, but most importantly a brother (from another mother). Kody is currently a head chef and co-owner of his family restaurant ‘Stoodleys Kitchen & Beverage’ while also becoming a new father to his adorable son Sawyer and a boyfriend to his loving partner Sloane. He is a high quality man, as pure as they come and is an inspiration of mine.
Groomsman
Oh Jaxon, what a guy. Jaxon is deeply adored and admired wherever he goes. One of the funniest and most charismatic young men. He and Kenzie have been best friends since he was born, nearly inseparable. Kenzie and Jaxon have infinite inside jokes and can laugh at literally anything. Cisco and Jaxon became such great friends early on into the relationship. They are always playing pranks and singing to each other. Jaxon has "spidey-sense" in a way when it came to facetime, he always knew when Kenzie was on call and he would grab the phone and walk away to get his much needed debrief. They had every guys night planned to a T and wouldn't waste a single second when they were together. Jaxon being apart of the wedding party was a no brainer.
Groomsman
Dustin is an incredible man! He is the big brother to Kenzie and Jaxon. Dustin, Kenzie, and Jaxon are a very close trio of siblings and love being together. Dustin is the balance of the more quiet and mellow personality in comparison to Jaxon's extrovert. Dustin can talk your ear off about the lore of Star Wars or his intense knowledge in WW2 history. He is very witty and will definitely get a smile out of you with a dad joke. Dustin and Cisco have a great friendship with their love of the USA and picking on Jaxon. Cisco is lucky to join the ranks with the boys. Can't have this day with out Dusty-buns.
Groomsman
Chris is a cousin of Cisco’s , but the relationship resembles one more of a brotherhood. Although Chris already has two younger brothers, he treated Cisco just the same. The loyalty and selflessness this man possesses is astounding, to a degree where when he was a ‘broke’ college student and Cisco was a ‘broke’ high school student he would ensure a great time was always had when they were together. His influence and unwavering love has helped shape Cisco into the man he is today.
Groomsman
Drew had also met Cisco through rep-football roughly 13 years ago. The main difference being that he was the Quarterback. Cisco’s job was to watch Drew’s back, and ever since then Drew has returned that favour off the field 10 times over. Cisco was roommates with Drew along with another good friend for a period of time growing up. Cisco witnessed the relationship between Drew and his now wife Carmen blossom into a very loving and happy marriage that flourishes to this day and serves as a firsthand inspiration to Cisco and Kenzie.
Officiant
Jen is a long time family friend and is best friends with Kenzie's mom April. She is one of the most accomplished women we've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She is a Ph.D. a few times over, incredibly articulate and a wonderful human being. She was one of the first people to believe in Cisco and Kenzie's relationship and she has always made time to catch up. She has offered so much advice and love. Jen loves both Kenzie and Cisco, and she will always have an extra place in her heart for her fellow Canadian. Couldn't have asked anyone better to officiate the wedding!
Flower Girl
Our Roma girl is a force to be reckoned with. She is the biggest girls girl if you've ever seen one. She is the first to drop a compliment about your style or ask if you've switched up your vibe. She is also the first to demand that you have a dance party with her, and there really is no saying no to her sweet face. She is our flower girl and she is going to crush it.
Ring Bearer
Luke-y boy is the biggest lover boy ever. He takes a little while to warm up, he's very selective about who gets to see his silly side. The second he lets you in don't ever take it for granted. We can listen to his stories for hours, he has the most expressive little face and the funniest comments on life. He knows a thing or two about a thing or two. To know Luke is to love him.
Flower Girl
Charlotte McKenzie has a very special place in the heart of the bride and groom but mostly the bride. This little lady is Kenzie's God Daughter and the squishiest little thing in the whole world. She is the daughter of Chelsea. She is growing up a little too fast, but we love watching the whole world through her eyes.
