Welcome Event: Turks and Caicos Island Fish Fry

This is a beloved community event among locals in which there will be local food (SOOO YUMMY!), art (BEAUTIFUL!), and music (WOW!) vendors...it ends with a big parade that YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS! Come ready to celebrate life and dance! This was Howard and Francie's favorite local event offered in Turks and Caicos...an Island tradition and gem! This is a must-experience event. *Plan to pay your own transportation from your lodging (typically $15-$30 in cash per medium/large cab…and depending on your proximity to the Island Fish Fry location). Simply tell your cab driver you’re going to the Island Fish Fry—they will know exactly where to take you and drop you off! You may have to walk a bit from your drop off location—this is a big event! 😃

Wedding Party Rehearsal Hour

This is a rehearsal hour for the wedding party to learn and practice the order of the wedding ceremony--let's pray over the ceremony, channel our creative juices, and iron out all the kinks! See y'all there, Fam! Please do your best to plan your arrival flights to be here for this rehearsal. Thank you! We love y'all! *Note, the come and go rehearsal dinner from 6 to 8pm follows this rehearsal hour.

Location: David’s Karaoke Bar & Grill (Long Bay) —this is what you will tell your cab driver. If you are driving, the address is: RV43+872, Leeward Hwy, Leeward Settlement TKCA 1ZZ, Turks & Caicos Islands Come and go dinner and karaoke the night before the wedding--greet the husband-to-be and wife-to-be on their last night before their new forever.

Come join us for a fun night of karaoke with Turks and Caicos Island locals! Howard and Francie truly enjoyed this karaoke bar the first time they visited the island and know you will love it as well. It's a charming gem! The people are great and the singing is even better (wink wink)! Stay as long as you want but keep in mind--the wedding is the next day and you have to be in your seat ready to go at 3:30 p.m.! LOL We will do our best to coordinate taxi travel to and from the karaoke bar for those who RSVP in advance. Join us!!

*NOTE: Guests not staying at either Blue Haven or Alexandra will need to arrive early enough (by 3pm) to check in at the Blue Haven front security desk. All adults will need to provide a form of identification (DL/state ID/passport) to leave at the Blue Haven front security desk while on the Blue Haven Resort for the wedding events. Blue Haven requires this security measure as mandatory for all off-site guests. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We will start promptly at 4:06 pm. Why?! Francie and Howard met on 4/6/2024 at the Celebration of Life/Homegoing of our dear friend, Kenny Blair. To honor Kenny and his memory/legacy, we will start our wedding ceremony at the exact time of one of our favorite and most meaningful dates of our relationship, 4/6 (4:06pm). Please respectfully be in your seats by 3:30 pm. No one will be allowed to enter the ceremony and be seated after 3:40 pm. Please respect the sanctity of the ceremony by being punctual. Thank you!

Totally optional! Let’s keep the party going!! If you are staying at either Blue Haven or Alexandra, see y’all poolside at Blue Haven Resort!! (Guests not staying at either Blue Haven or Alexandra will be subject to a Resort entry fee in order to enter Blue Haven Resort and join us at the pool.) Otherwise, enjoy the day with your family exploring the island(s) via excursions or other fun activities! Whatever you do, just relax and enjoy!
