Please RSVP by the end of February to give us enough time to organise our events and accommodation. If you unfortunately cannot make it at all please let us know as soon as possible.
Car hire is ideal as you can come and go as you please. The venue is in a remote village with not much in walking distance. There is a small train station nearby (Fosciandora Ceserana) so if you do not want to hire a car, this is possible and we can help arrange transport from the train station.
There is a village car park near the venue, however we are limited to car parking spaces. Please car share where possible and we will monitor how many cars will be on site and speak to our wedding planner to arrange additional spaces if needed.
There is lots to do nearby as you will see on our 'Things to Do' page. However the villa is in a beautiful setting, with land to explore and a donkey on site as well as a pool so please feel free to lounge around, read a book, play some games or eat and drink until your heart is content.
We will be putting on some meals as listed in the schedule and providing drinks for the events. Each apartment has its own kitchen and there is a large supermarket 10 minutes away where you can get any food or drinks you need.
Temperature in August could potentially hit mid 30's, as our venue is in the mountains it will likely be a bit cooler. There may be the occasional thunderstorm. We will have plenty of fans and umbrellas to save you from melting.
Just the essentials of Suncream and Bugspray! If you want to be really helpful, picking up a bottle of spirit at duty free in the airport for a communal bar would be great, meaning we can make cocktails and fun drinks.
Probably loads, from arranging fun games, to helping cook, entertaining the children or shopping trips. Please just ask!!
Please dress up smart casual for the pizza party and wine tasting, smart for the wedding day and trunks (no speedos allowed) and bikinis for the pool party. Any spare time feel free to lounge about in whatever you wish.
Yes, the ceremony and dinner will be overlooking the beautiful scenery, and the party will be hosted in the courtyard. If the weather is not in our favour, plan B will be hosting the dinner downstairs in the cellar of the venue.
We have been told we have got a curfew of 11pm for loud noise as there are locals living nearby however we will push this as much as possible. We may potentially bring a disco ball and move the party into the cellar if needs be.
Presence not Presents! We're not asking for any gifts as you making the journey over to Italy is amazing enough. However if you're realllyyyyy desperate to give us something cash towards our honeymoon would be great.
We have hired a photographer who's style we love and trust to get some amazing photos, we are asking for an unplugged ceremony so you can be fully present and our professional photos do not have phones on show. However feel free to take photos for the rest of the night.
You can post at any time during the week however please do not post any photos of the ceremony or Francesca and Alex on the wedding night until we have had chance to do so ourselves.
As you can imagine, getting legally married abroad is very expensive and difficult. Therefore we are legally getting married in the UK at a registry office with our siblings as witnesses. Our Italy celebration is a symbolic ceremony where we will be celebrating properly.
We do have some space for guests to stay longer than the four nights, unfortunately this doesn't cover everyone and there will will no events/food - if you are interested in staying longer please let us know.
Unfortunately we are restricted on space and numbers at the venue, so only the names listed on your invite are able to come.
