Getting There
The Norfolk Airport (ORF) is about 3 hours from Hatteras Island. If you plan to drive from the Tidewater area, the drive will take you 3 hours depending on where you're coming from.

Event Transportation
The Ceremony will take place at The Inn on Pamlico Sound. The hotels in Buxton are about 7 minutes away. For the wedding, shuttles will depart from designated locations. There is limited rideshare and parking at the ceremony site, but you are welcome to arrange your own transportation if you will not be taking advantage of the provided shuttles. We will provide shuttles back to the same designated locations at the end of the night.

Beach House Rentals
There are many rentals available on Hatteras Island, but transportation will only be provided if you are within 5 miles of The Inn on Pamlico Sound. Beach house rentals do book up quickly as September is still considered peak season.

The Lighthouse View is 3 miles from the ceremony site, The Inn on Pamlico Sound. Rooms and cottages are available. We encourage guests to stay here. Shuttle services will be available from this location.

The Atlantic Inn, Breakwater Inn, and Krystal Kreek Harbor are accommodations available on Hatteras Island, however they are outside of the provided transportation range. No shuttles will be available from these locations.
