Why do I need to bring a stamp?
Answer
Don't worry, ink pads will be provided! Throughout our relationship, Letterboxing (similar to Geocaching) has been a wonderful activity we enjoy. When we got engaged in Wilmington, NC, Zack created an entire Letterboxing scavenger hunt (and popped the question at the last box!). We would love our guests to join in our fun and leave a stamp in the guestbook, along with a signature. In true Letterboxing fashion, you are welcome to carve your own stamp. You are also welcome to bring one that is meaningful (or just looks pretty!).

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Everyone will be seated at 4:15pm for the processional to start. We recommend arriving anytime between 3:30pm-4pm. Shuttle transportation will also follow this schedule.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Creative Black Tie. We highly encourage tuxedos accompanied by fun and colorful bowties. Women are welcome to wear brightly colored floor length gowns to celebrate the last day of summer! The ceremony will take place on grass and a pier, so we recommend block heels or wedges. Don't forget to wear sunscreen! The ceremony is outdoors.

Can I bring a date?

Those invited to the wedding will be listed on your invitation and visible when you go to RSVP on the website. If there are any questions, don't hesitate to reach out.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We encourage you to make this a date night! Children that are invited will be listed on the invitation and RSVP section of the website. A babysitter will not be provided, so please take childcare into consideration

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
The venue is in Buxton, NC. Any accommodation within 5 miles of the venue will be serviced by the shuttle transportation. Please look at the Travel section of our website for information on recommended hotels and beach rentals.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
A shuttle service will be provided to and from the ceremony. Closer to the wedding, a schedule will be posted for shuttle times!
