Best Man

Tyler has been Gavin's best friend and partner-in-crime since the 6th grade. They went on many family vacations together, and Gavin was honored to stand by Tyler's side as Best Man on his wedding day. He and his wife Bree are now living in Japan! We are excited to travel that way to visit them soon, but for now, we will have to wait till our wedding. Can't wait to have you back in Cali for the celebrations Tyler and Bree!

Cousins by relation, but being born only 6 months apart, we've been inseparable from a young age. From summers spent together dancing at concerts in the park (and now dancing at country festivals), to eating olives off our fingers at every holiday meet up, she's been my partner-in-crime for as long as I can remember. I'm excited to have her stand by my side on my big day!

Gavin has known Reed since his Freshman year of high school when they swam in the slow lane together during water polo practices. From Righetti to Long Beach, they've stayed close through it all, and Reed even played a special role in Gavin and Sarah's relationship. He's a good one. Can't wait to celebrate with you Reed!

My fellow curly-haired girly (although, you wouldn't know from the picture). We met through our sorority, Delta Zeta at Long Beach State, and immediately upon meeting her I knew we would be close. A few weeks later she became my “little” (AKA little-sister) and all the fun began. I have many memories of fun nights, delicious brunches, vegan eats, and endless laughter with you. So thankful I get to have you by my side on the big day!

Gavin also knows Travis from his water polo days at Righetti! Travis has always been a true friend to Gavin and their shared passion for surfing and camping continues to bring them together time and time again. Travis is a fun and down-to-earth human being and it is an honor to have him as a Groomsman!

Delta Zeta brought us together, but our love for traveling and country music brought us even closer. We've traveled as far as Costa Rica together sharing both incredible memories and "doozy" moments. She also my forever two-step partner and the line dancing queen!! Can't wait to show off our moves at the wedding and for you to be by my side!!

Righetti water polo friend #3 (but really, these guys are the best)! Keanu is the goofball out of the bunch and always finds a way to put a smile on your face. He has recently moved down to San Diego where he and Gavin have spent a lot of time surfing. Lucky to have you as a friend Keanu. Glad to have you stand by my side on my big day!

Thankful that Delta Zeta introduced me to this girl. We met shortly after finding out we were in Delta Zeta and bonded over country music. In April of 2017, we went to Stagecoach together and since then, country concerts and line dancing have been what has brought us together and made us inseparable. She's a fun-loving gal who constantly inspires me. I cannot wait to kick the dust-up with you and have you by my side on my wedding day!

Cameron is Righetti water polo friend #4 and yet another good one. No matter the distance it's like nothing has changed when they meet up again! Always a good time and the best storyteller. Can't wait to have you at the wedding Cam!

Ayesa Patino

It was all chance that I met you and we became roommates, but man, am I so thankful for it. Ayesa was my roommate for two years during my studies at Cal State Long Beach. During that time we found out that we had so many things in common and we shared long nights, stories, and much love from her dog, Simon and welcomed her cat, French Fry. I am so thankful for our friendship and cherish every memory we have together. Let the wedding shenanigans begin!!

Caleb Durfee

Gavin and Caleb attended a Nuclear school in South Carolina together for two years. Those were some dark times, but Caleb and Gavin got through. Unfortunately, after their schooling was over, they were stationed in different states, but they have continued to keep in contact through the years. Caleb remains one of Gavin's close friends and one that he has made many memories with. Lucky to know you Caleb and can't wait for you to come to California.

Kimberly Mazzenga

Kimmy and I met in grad school at Biola and she quickly became a close friend. We trained for and ran a half-marathon together last July and graduated together in May 2020. During the COVID-crisis we were also quarantine buddies! Our friendship is a new one, but definitely a lifelong one. I was honored to stand by her side at her wedding in October, and cannot wait for her to stand in mine as well!!

Jacob Mazzenga

Jacob is part of the Quarantine Crew that Gavin, Sarah, and Kimmy (bridesmaid) got to spend time with during the COVID-19 shutdown. As someone who is now in a firefighting career, he has been a great source of both wisdom and friendship during our time in San Diego. Gavin has also taken Jacob out to *try to* catch a few waves here and there (update: Jacob is a QUICK learner)! Thankful for your friendship and excited to have you stand by Gavin's side on the big day!
