We’re getting married!

The first time we met was in Long Beach, California when Gavin was visiting high school friends. We ran into each other at a party and Sarah was won over with Gavin's gentleman-like moves (AKA water-pong). We went on a few dates, but eventually, Gavin had to go back to the East Coast for work. We both knew there was something special between the two of us, but the timing wasn’t right. Fate brought us together again when Sarah ran into Gavin’s friends a few months later. Next thing she knew, she was on a flight to the East coast to go hiking and camping in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The rest is history! The first year and a half of our relationship was long-distance, but the miles between allowed us to fall in love with the deeper, more personal, and conversational parts of each other. We are both adventurous, so our relationship has consisted of lots of local, cross country, and international travel. Here we are nearly six years later excited to celebrate our big day with you!

Gavin’s “getting-out-of-the-Navy” wish was to travel to a tropical place with good surf, so we went on a Samoan vacation. He disguised it as a "surfing trip" so I was super surprised and absolutely over-the-moon when he proposed on Christmas Day in the most picture-perfect spot! The best Christmas gift! We cannot wait to celebrate and hope you will be able to join us in June.
